About Lauren

I first adopted a healthy interest in wine when it was occasionally given to me as a child of Italian parents. In early adulthood, I discovered an interest for all things culinary and began taking wine and cooking classes. This exposure unearthed my passion for wine, and I haven't stopped talking about it since!

I have extensive knowledge of the world's major wine regions, specializing in the wines of Italy and Spain. I am fluent in Italian and make regular trips to Italy to explore the country's rich wine producing regions. This experience has provided me with a unique cultural perspective that I love sharing with clients and students.

I hold the Advanced Certificate in Wine and Spirits from the UK's Wine & Spirit Education Trust as well as the Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW) credential from the Society of Wine Educators. I have been teaching wine classes since 2004, and am often praised for my enthusiasm in the classroom.
